As part of the 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', the Irish Navy and CMRC teamed up to do a coastal clean up at Ringaskiddy/Hawlbowline, May 2012.

 As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', Lehanmore Community Co-op organized a community Beach Art Competition on Garnish Beach, Co. Cork on Saturday 12th May 2012. The sun shone on a fun afternoon of beach art with prizes and refreshments.

 As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', residents of Glin Development Group, Co. Limerick, held a clean up of debris and litter along three miles of the Shannon estuary shoreline on Wednesday 16th May. Well done!

As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', Inchydoney Island Residents Association teamed up with Big Fish Games and supported by Inchydoney Island Lifeboat Association, to hold a Marram Grass / Beach Clean day on Saturday 12th May. Big Fish Games employees travelled from Mahon in Cork City to join the residents of Inchydoney Island and the Hotel Lodge and Spa provided lunch for the group. Well done to all involved!

Headway Ireland provides support and services to people affected by brain injury. On the 11th of May a group of 10 clients from Headway Ireland took to Dollymount strand to kick off clean coasts week on Bull Island. The recent bad weather had left alot of debris on the beach so everyone was kept very busy.  The weather held up and the skylarks in the background provided the music for the day! Well done everyone

 As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', Dingle Aquarium, Co. Kerry, organized a community beach clean on Ventry beach on Saturday 12th May. Well done to all involved.

 As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', Glenbeigh Community Council organized two beach cleans at Glenbeigh. Well done to all involved!

 As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012', Maherees Coastcare Group, Co. Kerry, held a beach clean on Sunday 13th May. Despite windy conditions, the group did a good clean up. Well done!

As part of 'Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2012, Coiste Maisithe na Rinne / Ring Peninsula Community Group, Co. Waterford, held a big community coastal clean up on Saturday 12th May. The locations of the clean ups were: The Cunnigar, Poll a PhĂșca, Baile na nGall and Helvick. Four truck loads of rubbish were collected. Waterford County Council supported the event, and refreshments were provided to the local volunteers. Well done!
